Hetmantsev announces draft law on supporting industry in wartime
KYIV. Nov 4 (Interfax-Ukraine) – The Parliamentary Committee on Finance, Taxation and Customs Policy together with the government, following two weeks of meetings with business representatives, is developing a package of measures aimed at supporting domestic industry in wartime.
"We are completing consultations and will present the draft law to the public next week. We will not hesitate to pass it," Danylo Hetmantsev, head of the committee, wrote on the Telegram channel on Friday.
According to him, the package, in particular, will include exemption from imported VAT for equipment supplied for own needs, without the right to resale, in particular, electric generators; exemption from payment of environmental tax, certain local taxes by key industries; resolving the issue of attributing assets in the occupied territories to expenses and a package of non-tax support measures.
