Helicopter crashes near kindergarten, residential building in Brovary: there are casualties – local authorities

KYIV. Jan 18 (Interfax-Ukraine) – In Brovary, Kyiv region, a helicopter crashed near a kindergarten and a residential building, there are victims, Head of Kyiv regional military administration Oleksiy Kuleba said on Thursday morning.
"In the town of Brovary, a helicopter crashed near a kindergarten and a residential building. During the tragedy, children and employees of the institution were in the kindergarten. At the moment, everyone has been evacuated. There are victims. Ambulances, police and firefighters are working at the crash site," Kuleba said in Telegram.
Deputy Head of the President’s Office Kyrylo Tymoshenko, in turn, said the number of reports of victims of a helicopter crash is increasing.
"We didn’t have time to recover from one tragedy, we already have another. The number of messages about the victims in Brovary is increasing," Tymoshenko said on his Telegram channel.
