Hawk system prepared to become part of Air Force combat formations – Ihnat
KYIV. Nov 18 (Interfax-Ukraine) – The Hawk air defense system is being prepared to become part of the combat formations of the Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU), Yuriy Ihnat, spokesman for the Air Force Command of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, said.
"We see that both NASAMS and Iris-T systems are already working at the front. We expect that the Hawk system, which is now is being prepared to become part of the Air Force battle formations, will also work. Thus, we will strengthen the existing air defense system," Ihnat said on the air of the national telethon on Friday.
