Grain terminal EVT increases storage capacity by 30,000 tonnes
KYIV. Aug 31 (Interfax-Ukraine) – The EVT marine grain terminal (Mykolaiv) will increase the volume of one-time storage by 30,000 tonnes by acquiring the assets of Vibo-Trans LLC (Odesa).
According to a press release from EVT, the acquired assets include two warehouses with a total storage capacity of 30,000 tonnes, a laboratory, weighing, unloading stations and an administrative building. The facilities occupy 1.7 hectares of the territory.
"The deal with our long-term partner Vibo-Trans will allow the EVT terminal to increase storage volumes, add new amenities and services for customers. We intend to mechanize the acquired facilities in order to improve their efficiency and manufacturability and provide customers with new segregated storage services. We plan to complete the work by late 2021," director of the port operator EVT Grain Serhiy Hunko said.
As reported, the Antimonopoly Committee of Ukraine (AMCU) allowed the Evrovneshtorg company (EVT) to purchase the integral property complex of the elevator located in Mykolaiv, and owned by Vibo-Trans LLC.
