Govt terminates agreement between Ukraine and Russia on cooperation in use of outer space for peaceful purposes
KYIV. Feb 4 (Interfax-Ukraine) – The Cabinet of Ministers has terminated the agreement between the governments of Ukraine and Russia on cooperation in the field of exploration and use of outer space for peaceful purposes.
As the representative of the Cabinet of Ministers in the Verkhovna Rada, Taras Melnychuk, said on his Telegram channel, the decision was made at a government meeting on Saturday.
In particular, the agreement between the government of Ukraine and the government of Russia on cooperation in the field of exploration and use of outer space for peaceful purposes, which was signed on August 27, 1996, and the protocol to this agreement dated November 26, 2010, were terminated.
