Govt temporarily cancels rent fee at seaports, airports
KYIV. Sept 19 (Interfax-Ukraine) – Tenants of state-owned property at airports and tenants who are port operators and use property in the seaports of Odesa, Chornomorsk, Pivdenny, Mykolaiv, Olvia, Bilhorod-Dnistrovsky are temporarily exempt from paying rent from the first day of the war – since February 24 of this year.
The Cabinet of Ministers published resolution No. 1026 dated September 13 on its website, amending resolution No. 634 dated May 27, which introduced a system of benefits and discounts for many categories of tenants.
In the case of airports, the exemption is valid until the resumption of the aviation activities of these airports, and in the case of seaports – until the full restoration of merchant shipping or the establishment of the security level in the indicated seaports below level 3 in each of the indicated seaports by the Cabinet of Ministers.
