Govt separates norms for loss of ethyl alcohol for various climatic zones and seasons
KYIV. Jan 27 (Interfax-Ukraine) – The Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine clarified that from now on, the norms for the loss of ethyl alcohol during storage and transportation will be separately determined for the northern and southern climatic zones of Ukraine, and when setting alcohol consumption norms, the season will be taken into account – the autumn-winter period (from October 1 to March 31) and spring-summer period (from April 1 to September 30).
According to Taras Melnychuk, a representative of the government in the Verkhovna Rada, said on his Telegram channel, the Cabinet of Ministers made the relevant changes to the requirements for accounting, storage, dispensing, receipt and transportation of ethyl alcohol at a meeting on Friday.
"The norms for the loss of ethyl alcohol during storage and transportation by rail, water and road transport have been approved. The norms for the loss of ethyl alcohol are determined for conditionally two climatic zones of Ukraine – southern and northern and two periods of the year: autumn-winter – from October 1 to March 31, spring-summer – from April 1 to September 30," he wrote.
