Govt raises charter capital of Energy Efficiency Fund by UAH 100 mln
KYIV. Sept 22 (Interfax-Ukraine) – The Cabinet of Ministers has increased the charter capital of the state institution Energy Efficiency Fund by UAH 100 million, to UAH 2.819 billion.
The corresponding decision was made at a government meeting on Wednesday.
"These funds will be used to finance projects to improve energy efficiency. Energy efficiency is both a reduction in payments for people and a more rational use of resources in the energy sector," Prime Minister of Ukraine Denys Shmyhal said at the government meeting.
According to an explanatory note to the draft resolution on increasing the charter capital of the institution, its adoption is necessary to send UAH 100 million provided for by the law on the state budget for 2021 to the fund’s accounts.
