Govt must guarantee Ukrainians opportunity to work in lockdown, compensations for business, moratorium on inspections – Holos leader

KYIV. Sept 20 (Interfax-Ukraine) – Leader of the Holos party, MP Kira Rudyk, initiated three resolutions of the Verkhovna Rada, in particular, on the possibility to work during the lockdown, a ban on business inspections and the allocation of UAH 10 billion to support entrepreneurs.

"It is especially important now to support the people of business. We in the Holos know that the government has money for this. Instead of distributing them to the majoritarians in constituencies, who support the government, to increase the funding of the Prosecutor General’s Office, as provided by the draft budget, the state should allocate UAH 10 billion to support entrepreneurs," Rudyk was quoted as saying by the press service of the party.

She said also that minimizing the effects of lockdown on the economy is possible by taking three steps, in particular, providing an opportunity to work during the lockdown, banning unmotivated business inspections and creating a government program to support entrepreneurs.
