Govt distributes UAH 22 mln subventions for temporary housing for IDPs
KYIV. Oct 28 (Interfax-Ukraine) – The Cabinet of the Minister of Ukraine has allocated UAH 22 million of subventions to the regions for provision of temporary housing for internally displaced persons (IDPs).
As Prime Minister of Ukraine Denys Shmyhal said at a government session, the Cabinet of Ministers distributed a subvention to local budgets to support internally displaced persons in need of temporary housing.
In particular, the government allocated almost UAH 22 million to 11 regions, at the expense of which it is planned to purchase 53 real estate objects and carry out the repair of 13 objects for temporary residence of about 242 internally displaced persons.
It is noted that it is also planned to purchase two sets of equipment for registration and issuance of passports of a citizen of Ukraine for centers providing administrative services.
