Govt creates 'School of Superheroes' to educate children in inpatient care in hospitals
KYIV. Oct 29 (Interfax-Ukraine) – The Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine has created a state institution "School of Superheroes" to provide educational services to children undergoing inpatient treatment in hospitals.
The corresponding decision was made at a government meeting on Thursday, October 28.
It is said that the purpose of creating such an institution is to ensure the provision of educational services in the field of preschool and general secondary education to children who are in inpatient treatment, including in connection with COVID-19, or who are provided with rehabilitation assistance in health care institutions of Ukraine.
It is expected that such a solution will ensure the continuity of education and development of children, regardless of their condition.
It is noted that the maximum number of employees of the institution will be 235.
In connection with the establishment of this institution, the Ministry of Health, regional state administrations, with the participation of local self-government, were instructed to provide conditions for the work of educational centers of the "School of Superheroes" at health care institutions.
This decision enters into force from January 1, 2022.
