KYIV. Sept 22 (Interfax-Ukraine) – The Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine at a meeting on September 22 adopted a resolution on the acquisition of additional shares issued by PrJSC Ukrfinzhytlo in 2021 in the amount of UAH 20 billion in exchange for government domestic loan bonds.
"The decision will make it possible to replenish the charter capital of Ukrfinzhytlo by UAH 20 billion with further allocation of funds for the implementation of programs for providing citizens with housing on the terms of mortgage lending and financial leasing," the press release of the Ministry of Finance of Ukraine says.
The resolution provides for the issue by the Ministry of Finance in 2021 of government bonds in the amount of UAH 20 billion with a turnover period of up to 15 years and an interest rate of up to 13% per annum, as well as the acquisition to state ownership of the additionally issued shares of PrJSC Ukrfinzhytlo.
According to the ministry, this will make it possible to provide about 8,000 mortgage loans for the purchase of about 12,000 apartments on financial leasing terms.
