Govt approves provision of grants to businesses from territories of possible hostilities
KYIV. March 31 (Interfax-Ukraine) – The Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine has approved the provision of grants to businesses from the territories of possible hostilities, the Ministry for Reintegration of the Temporarily Occupied Territories has reported.
“The government has clarified the criteria for determining persons eligible to apply for grants to create or develop their own business … Now business entities from the territories of possible hostilities will also be able to apply for grants. For example, a significant part of Kharkiv region belongs to such territories, but at the same time economic and business activity does not stop there,” the ministry said in.
It is noted that restrictions on filing an application are provided only for entities that are located or carry out economic activities in the temporarily occupied territories or territories of active hostilities, for whom the date of completion of the occupation or hostilities has not been determined in accordance with the order of the Ministry of Reintegration.
The adopted changes relate to the following government programs: provision of micro-grants for the creation or development of one’s own business, providing grants for the creation or development of horticulture, berry growing and viticulture, providing grants for the creation or development of greenhouses.
