Govt approves order of temporary suspension of exports of blood products
KYIV. Sept 16 (Interfax-Ukraine) – The Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine has approved the procedure for temporary suspension of exports of blood products produced from blood plasma procured in Ukraine for fractionation.
The relevant resolution was approved by the government at a meeting on Wednesday.
According to the text of the document, the export of blood is suspended in case of failure to meet the needs of the health system of Ukraine in such drugs in full, if the manufacturer refuses to sell them and meet such needs, as well as the imposition of martial law.
The decision to suspend is made for a period of one to three months.
Regional and Kyiv city administrations, central executive bodies and other state bodies form quarterly supply plans in accordance with the specified volume and concluded agreements with the manufacturer of blood products.
