Govt approves draft agreement with France on defense and security grant of EUR 100 mln
KYIV. Oct 12 (Interfax-Ukraine) – The Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine has approved a draft agreement between the governments of Ukraine and France on a grant for a maximum of EUR 100 million in the sphere of defense and security.
This decision was made at a Wednesday meeting of the Ukrainian government, Representative of the Cabinet of Ministers in the Verkhovna Rada Taras Melnychuk said on the Telegram channel.
The agreement defines the terms of providing the grant by France to Ukraine in order to support the acquisition by Ukraine of equipment or services in the sphere of defense and security.
The maximum amount of the grant is EUR 100 million.
