Govt approves draft agreement on deferral of EUR 3 mln debt under KfW four programs
KYIV. Dec 9 (Interfax-Ukraine) – The Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine has approved a draft agreement on deferring the debt of EUR3 million under four programs of the German Development Bank KfW.
As the representative of the Cabinet of Ministers in the Verkhovna Rada, Taras Melnychuk, said in his Telegram channel, the decision was made at a government meeting on Friday.
In particular, a draft debt deferral agreement between KfW, Frankfurt am Main and the Cabinet of Ministers was approved for the amount of EUR 2,989,823 to provide the possibility of temporarily suspending the repayment and servicing of debt on loans raised under loan agreements under four joint projects with KfW: Increasing Efficiency of Energy Transmission (Modernisation of Substations), SMEs Support Program in Rural Areas, Municipal Water Infrastructure Project Chernivtsi – Phase 1 and Support for Small and Medium-Sized Enterprises.
