Govt approves changes to technical regulations for petroleum products to prevent threat of diesel fuel shortage in winter
KYIV. Oct 28 (Interfax-Ukraine) – The Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine has approved amendments to the technical regulations regarding the requirements for motor gasoline, diesel, marine and boiler fuel, approved by Resolution No. 927 dated August 1, 2013.
The resolution, the draft of which was developed by the Ministry of Energy, was adopted at a government meeting on Thursday.
According to an explanatory note to the draft, the purpose of making changes to the technical regulations is to eliminate problematic issues discovered during its application, in particular technical errors regarding diesel fuel indicators and requirements for gasolines in which bioethanol is present.
