Germany cannot rule out delivery of Leopard tanks to Ukraine – Economy Minister
KYIV. Jan 9 (Interfax-Ukraine) – Germany cannot rule out the delivery of Leopard tanks, heavier fighting vehicles than the Marders, to support Ukrainian Armed Forces in the future, Reuters said, citing a statement by German Economy Minister Robert Habeck.
"Of course it can’t be ruled out," Habeck said on Sunday evening.
His comments come two days after Germany said it wants to deliver about 40 Marder infantry fighting vehicles to Ukraine, the United States to Bradley combat vehicles, and France to AMX-10 RC.
