Germany already receives request from Poland for consent to transfer Leopard tanks to Ukraine – Błaszczak
KYIV. Jan 24 (Interfax-Ukraine) – Polish Defense Minister Mariusz Błaszczak said Germany had already received a request for consent to transfer Leopard 2 tanks to Ukraine and called on Germany to join the coalition of countries supporting Ukraine with tanks.
"The Germans have already received our request for consent to the transfer of Leopard 2 tanks to Ukraine. I also call on the German side to join the coalition of countries supporting Ukraine with Leopard 2 tanks. This is our common cause, because we are talking about the security of all of Europe," the minister said on Twitter.
