German business ready to expand production, presence in Ukrainian market – Shmyhal
KYIV. April 4 (Interfax-Ukraine) – Prime Minister Denys Shmyhal discussed with Vice Chancellor, Minister for Economic Affairs and Climate Action of Germany Robert Habeck and representatives of German companies the necessary mechanisms for expanding production and presence in the Ukrainian market.
“First of all, we are talking about insurance of military risks for business, which will help boost economic activity in Ukraine. We already have a pilot project with MIGA and the first projects with the American company DFC. We are working on finding a similar tool with Germany,” Shmyhal wrote on the Telegram channel.
The prime minister stressed that Ukraine has potential in the areas of critical raw materials, processing and military-tech, which can bring many benefits and business prospects.
“We also count on the support and participation of Germany and German companies in the post-war restoration of our state,” Shmyhal summed up.
