Georgian Interior Ministry reports detention of 46 opposition protesters in Tbilisi
TBILISI. Nov 10 (Interfax) – Forty-six opposition protesters were detained in Tbilisi on Wednesday, Georgian Patrol Police Department chief Vazha Siradze told reporters.
"The detentions were made as demonstrators broke the public peace. In particular, they refused to step out of the road," Siradze said.
The opposition protesters demand that former Georgian President Mikheil Saakashvili be transferred from a prison infirmary to a civilian clinic.
