Gas price for budgetary organizations may exceed UAH 19/cubic meter – Razumkov
KYIV. Oct 4 (Interfax-Ukraine) – The price of natural gas for budgetary organizations, including VAT and transportation, may exceed UAH 19/cubic meter, chairman of the Verkhovna Rada Dmytro Razumkov has stated.
"After the signing of a memorandum with the government, many mayors wrote to me that the full price of gas, including VAT and transportation, would be approximately UAH 19.1/cubic meter," Razumkov said during a conciliation council in parliament.
At the same time, he reproached the mayor of Dnipro, Borys Filatov, that he, calling the price of UAH 13.6/cubic meter, did not voice "the whole truth."
In addition, Razumkov said that "9 billion cubic meters less gas was pumped into the storage facilities," asking why the injection was not carried out earlier, when prices for the resource were lower, and "not $ 1,200/thousand cubic meters."
At the same time, the speaker initiated the report of Energy Minister Herman Haluschenko at the "Hour of Questions to the Government" on Friday, October 8, regarding the level of preparation for the heating season 2021/2020.
"We need to invite the minister of energy in connection with the situation we have. Let him say what forecasts are, what readiness is, whether we can count on the price we have," the speaker noted.
