At 1100, a webinar entitled "Digital safety of journalists in times of war" will start. The organizers are the Office of the Council of Europe in Ukraine and the Ministry of Culture and Information Policy of Ukraine. The purpose of the webinar is to increase the level of knowledge about the security of communications during the war and the protection of devices from malware. At 1100, Ukraine Media Center (Lviv, 32 Rynok Square) will host a discussion entitled: "Children of war: adaptation and socialization." The discussion will be based on the results of a study conducted by Lviv Regional Council in cooperation with experts from the NGO "Civil Society Development Forum" and on the online methods of the Council of Europe project "Strengthening civil participation in democratic decision making in Ukraine." Participants include Head of the Council of Europe project "Strengthening public participation in the democratic decision-making process in Ukraine" Volodymyr Kebalo, Chairman of the Permanent Parliamentary Commission on Education, Science and Innovation of Lviv Regional Council Ivanna Herus, experts of the Council of Europe project "Strengthening civil participation in democratic decision making in Ukraine" Oleh Dukas and Yulia Hvozdovych; psychotherapist, regional coordinator of the Malta help service Olena Abramyuk. The visit is free. Participants are requested to arrive 10-15 minutes before the start of the event.
At 1600, the inter-factional parliamentary association of the Verkhovna Rada "Strategic foresight of Ukraine" will present a foresight study on the post-war reconstruction and the future of Ukraine. Organizers are Verkhovna Rada together with the United Nations Development Program (UNDP) in Ukraine. During the event, a presentation of the planned foresight study, the priorities of the inter-factional association will be presented, and a digital tool will be announced that will be used to involve citizens to discussions about the future of Ukraine. The event will be opened by First Deputy Head of the Verkhovna Rada Oleksandr Korniyenko and Acting UNDP Resident Representative in Ukraine Manal Fouani. MPs of Ukraine, representatives of international and public organizations, public and international experts are also invited to participate. The event is taking place online.
