France donates 100 generators to Ukraine
KYIV. Dec 9 (Interfax-Ukraine) – France has handed over 100 medium power generators to Ukraine for the heating season, the Energy Ministry of Ukraine reported on its website.
"Ukrainian power engineers are holding the second front in this war with Russia – the energy front. The support of our international partners in such conditions is very valuable. And we thank France for their support and, in particular, for these generators that will help us get through this extremely difficult winter," Deputy Minister of Energy Farid Safarov said.
According to the Ministry of Energy, the cargo transferred by France includes generators with a capacity of 5 kW to 10 kW, as well as from 12 kVA to 40 kVA.
"The relevant equipment was purchased in France and delivered to Ukraine through the European Union Civil Protection Mechanism (#UCPM)," the ministry said.
