Fozzy Group launches educational courses for craft producers with access to grant support
KYIV. Sept 15 (Interfax-Ukraine) – The Lavka Tradytsiy project for the distribution of craft and farm products of Silpo retailer, which is part of Fozzy Group, has launched a Food Building the Future program to support small entrepreneurs.
According to a Fozzy press release, during the project, Lavka will provide grants of UAH 50,000 each to five craft food manufacturers to develop their business, as well as access to the holding’s production facilities (when working with products of non-animal origin).
In addition, ten more entrepreneurs will receive individual mentoring sessions from ex-adviser of the Kyiv Mayor Maksym Bakhmatov, Fozzy Group Vice President for Marketing Pavlo Rohanov, Mastercard Marketing and Communications Director in Ukraine and Moldova Natalia Baidala, founder of T.B. Fruit and Galicia by Taras Barschevsky and co-founder of Nova Poshta Inna Popereshniuk.
All other craft producers participating in the program will receive free access to the course of applied lectures Foodprosvita from Lavka Tradytsiy.
To participate in the project, an entrepreneur must have an account on the social network Instagram and submit an application for participation in the project from September 15 to October 15.
Silpo-Food LLC was established in early August 2016. As of September 2022, there are 299 supermarkets in the chain.
According to Opendatabot, the founder of the company is PJSC Retail Capital closed non-diversified venture corporate investment fund (100%, Kyiv), Volodymyr Kostelman is the ultimate beneficiary.
