Foxtrot plans to launch new warehouse in Kyiv region in autumn

KYIV. Aug 17 (Interfax-Ukraine) – Foxtrot has begun the construction of a new warehouse in Kyiv region, plans to put it into operation in the autumn.

"Our new warehouse – modern and spacious – is almost at the finishing line. This is the project that we considered before the war. And, no matter how sad it is to realize this fact, but it was external circumstances that became the driving force in launching it right now," Oleksiy Zozulia, the executive director of the Foxtrot chain, said.

According to the company, the area of the new warehouse will be 22,000 square meters. The new facility will become the main logistics core of the company, after the destruction of the central Foxtrot warehouse in Hostomel by the Russian invaders.

In addition, since the beginning of August, the network has resumed the work of six stores in Vyshneve, Izmail, Pavlohrad, Zaporizhia, Rivne and Kyiv. Until the end of the month, it is also planned to restore the work of five facilities: in Lubny, Korosten, Pryluky, Boryspil, and Kryvy Rih.

"The resumption of the full operation of each of our stores is the result of painstaking teamwork, an important event for the company and, I am sure, for our customers too. Especially for residents of small towns, where Foxtrot was almost the only household appliances store. Therefore, we are gradually recovering and we continue to work where possible, taking into account safety," Zozulia said.

According to the retailer, as of mid-August, there are 111 chain stores in 65 cities of Ukraine.

Foxtrot is one of the largest retail chains in Ukraine in terms of the number of stores and sales of electronics and home appliances. As of the beginning of 2022, the brand is omnichannel (offline and online trade), covers 170 stores in 90 regional and regional centers of Ukraine and the Foxtrot.UA online store.
