Forest Technology, part of EFI Group of businessman Liski, begins full-fledged work in Feb

KYIV. Jan 25 (Interfax-Ukraine) – The forest processing enterprise Forest Technology (Zhytomyr region), which suffered significant damage as a result of missile fire by Russian invaders in the spring of 2022, after restoration, starts full-fledged work in February, majority investor of Forest Technology Ihor Liski said.

"For six months, with the stubbornness of madmen, we cleaned and rebuilt our new Forest Technology plant! And yes, we know that it is less than 100 km to the border with Belarus, and again they scare us … but we are stubborn … starting from February, we will fully start production of our products," Liski wrote on Facebook, accompanying the post with photos of the destroyed and restored plant.

As reported, the investment holding EFI Group (Effective Investments) of businessman Liski invested more than UAH 12 million in the restoration of Forest Technology.

As the press service of EFI Group told Interfax-Ukraine with reference to Liski, it is planned to bring Forest Technology to full capacity in the next few months.

"There is demand for our products, as well as loyal customers. Everyone understands what we had to go through as investors, what difficult decisions to make in order to resume its work. Therefore, customers are trying to support, to give us the opportunity to fully recover," Liski is quoted in the press service of the Group.

He stressed that the company is provided with raw materials, the main issue was the supply of equipment.

"Again, customs, logistics, delays in production of both Ukrainian and international suppliers. I am convinced that the story of Forest Technology will be instructive both for ourselves and for our international partners. We are able to fight and win in business as well," the majority investor of the plant said.
