Finland to supply Ukraine with military equipment worth EUR 28.8 mln
KYIV. Dec 20 (Interfax-Ukraine) – Finland will send military equipment worth EUR 28.8 million to Ukraine, the Ministry of Defense announced on Tuesday.
"For operational reasons and in order to ensure the safe delivery of aid, the content, method and schedule of delivery will not be disclosed in more detail," the Finnish Ministry of Defense said.
This will be the eleventh delivery of military equipment. The total cost of all sets of defense equipment supplied by Finland to Ukraine is now EUR 189.2 million.
In addition, the Finnish Defense Forces will continue to participate in providing training to the Ukrainian Armed Forces in the UK until the end of 2023.
In August, Finland sent about 20 instructors on a UK-led training mission.
