Finland provides more than 45,000 Ukrainians with shelter, ready to host more – Ukraine Interior Minister
KYIV. Jan 9 (Interfax-Ukraine) – More than 45,000 Ukrainian refugees currently live in Finland, and more Ukrainian citizens will be hosted soon from the Baltic states, Interior Minister of Ukraine Denys Monastyrsky has said.
"Finland has hosted more than 45,000 Ukrainian citizens, and it is currently working to provide with shelter more Ukrainians citizens that would come to Finland from the Baltic states soon," the minister told reporters in Kyiv following a working meeting with his Finnish counterpart.
"We have just discussed the fact that Finland will host more Ukrainian citizens who are staying in the Baltic states today," Monastyrsky said.
