Finance Ministry agrees to cancel payment of single tax by 4th group of farmers for occupied territories – UAC
KYIV. Aug 25 (Interfax-Ukraine) – The Ministry of Finance of Ukraine has accepted the proposal of the Ukrainian Agrarian Council (UAC) to exempt the fourth group of farmers from paying a single tax, whose land plots are located in the territories temporarily occupied by Russians.
As reported on the Council’s website, it received the letter from the ministry with a promise to make these changes to the tax bill, which is now being developed by the tax committee of the Verkhovna Rada.
In this regard, the UAC thanked the authorities, in particular, the Ministry of Finance of Ukraine and the head of the Verkhovna Rada Committee on Finance, Tax and Customs Policy of Ukraine Danylo Hetmantsev.
The single tax payers of the fourth group include agricultural producers, in which the share of agricultural commodity production is equal to or exceeds 75%.
