Farmak expands list of drugs available on UK market
KYIV. Jan 9 (Interfax-Ukraine) – The pharmaceutical company Farmak (Kyiv) has registered two more of its drugs in the UK, thus expanding the list of its drugs on the market of this state to three.
According to the company’s press release, Farmak has registered in the UK a drug used in magnetic resonance imaging and a hormonal drug to stop bleeding.
In 2021, the company launched an anti-inflammatory pain reliever for dental use on the UK market.
"We have introduced serious medicines to the UK market and we already have a large order for their supply within two years. We cooperate with local partners around the world who track the needs of the market in their region," Volodymyr Kostiuk, Executive Director of Farmak, said.
Farmak is the leader of the pharmaceutical market of Ukraine in terms of sales of medicines in monetary terms. The company has a pharmaceutical plant in Kyiv and a plant for production of active pharmaceutical ingredients in Shostka (Sumy region).
