Express Insurance reduces premiums by 39.7%, payments by 6.7% in H1 2022
KYIV. Aug 15 (Interfax-Ukraine) – Express Insurance (Kyiv), which is part of UkrAVTO Corporation, collected UAH 178.9 million in January-June 2022, which is 39.7% more than in the same period a year earlier (UAH 296.5 million), according to a press release from the insurer.
The collection of KASKO premiums decreased by 39.5% – to UAH 159.9 million (for the six months of 2021 – UAH 264.1 million).
According to the results of January-June 2022, the company paid almost UAH 102.4 million to customers, of which UAH 89.1 million under KASKO agreements.
The company also reports that in January-June 2022 it increased the level of payments to customers to 57.2% against 34% in January-June 2021.
In addition, the company has significantly increased its liquidity and accumulated cash to meet its obligations to customers. Insurance reserves for this period increased by 10.3% – up to UAH 325.1 million, assets – by 12%, up to UAH 554.1 million.
Express Insurance was founded in 2008 with the participation of UkrAVTO Corporation.
