Export of foodstuffs from Ukraine under grain initiative reaches 3.9 mln tonnes
KYIV. Sept 19 (Interfax-Ukraine) – Another four ships with 178,780 tonnes of foodstuffs left the ports of Big Odesa on Monday for the countries of Africa, Asia and Europe, the Ukrainian Sea Ports Authority (USPA) reported.
"In particular, bulk carriers Fulmar S and Gulmar left the port of Odesa, and bulk carriers Tomahawk and Arcturus departed from the port of Pivdenny," the USPA said on Facebook.
In total, since the release of the first ship with Ukrainian food, 3.9 million tonnes of food have already been exported, and the total number of ships for Asia, Europe and Africa has reached 169.
