Explosions, shooting heard in Berdiansk, city center is smoky – mayor's office
ZAPORIZHIA. Sept 6 (Interfax-Ukraine) – Explosions are heard in occupied Berdiansk and gunfire is heard. The city center is shrouded in smoke, ambulances and the police are on their way to the scene, Berdiansk mayor’s office said on the Telegram channel.
According to the statement, explosions were heard in the central part of Berdiansk near administrative buildings.
Gunfire is also reported in the city.
Local residents post photos in public where pillars of black smoke are visible.
The mayor’s office also notes that there was no information about the demining of the seaport.
