Explosion occurs at section of Urengoy-Pomary-Uzhgorod gas pipeline in Chuvashia
CHEBOKSARY. Dec 20 (Interfax-Ukraine) – An explosion has occurred along the main Urengoy-Pomary-Uzhgorod gas pipeline in Chuvashia, the press service of the head of the republic of Chuvashia has reported.
"The operating organization Zavolzhskoe linear department of the main gas pipelines of Gazprom Transgaz Nizhny Novgorod was conducting operations prior to the breakout of the fire," according to the statement.
The circumstances are under investigation, and there are not any victims or injured parties preliminarily.
