Ex-director of Milkiland reduces his stake by 0.16%

KYIV. Nov 9 (Interfax-Ukraine) – R-Assets NV (Curacao), controlled by the former non-executive director of Milkiland group of companies, Viacheslav Rekov, on November 3 reduced its participation in its charter capital from 5.00% to 4.84%.

According to the company’s information on the Warsaw Stock Exchange, before the transaction, R-Assets NV owned 1.563 million shares of Milkiland (5.00% of the total), and after November 4, 2021, it owns 1.513 million shares (4.84%).

The buyer of the specified package was not disclosed in the report.

As reported, the shareholders of Milkiland Public Company Limited (Cyprus), the holding company of the dairy producer, on March 4, 2021, appointed Avraam Georgiou as a non-executive director instead of Viacheslav Rekov.

Rekov was chief financial officer of Milkiland in 2001, and from 2003 to 2011 – president and CEO of the group. On June 17, 2011, he was appointed non-executive director responsible for the acquisition and integration of new businesses and investor relations.

Milkiland group of companies is one of the largest dairy producers on the Ukrainian market. The company has production facilities in Ukraine, Russia and Poland. In Ukraine, the company owns over 3,000 dairy cows, and also cultivates 17,000 hectares of land.
