Evidence of occupation police activities collected in liberated Izium – prosecutors
KHARKIV. Sept 14 (Interfax-Ukraine) – Ukrainian law enforcers have searched a pseudo-police station created by the Russian occupation forces in Izium, Kharkiv region, which has been de-occupied by the Ukrainian defense forces.
"During the search, evidence of the fact that the occupiers tried to create the ‘police’ in the occupied territory was found. In particular, the following items were seized: a register for policemen on duty, the lists of persons on fake positions, the citizens’ appeals to the pseudo-police regarding crimes, Russian regulatory legal acts, Russian stamps and seals, etc." The press service of Kharkiv Regional Prosecutor’s Office said.
The search was conducted within the framework of criminal proceedings on high treason committed under martial law (Part 2 of Article 111 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine).
