Evening application for transit of Russian gas via Ukraine on Dec 21 as usual – GTSOU
KYIV. Dec 20 (Interfax-Ukraine) – The volume of the confirmed application for the transit of Russian natural gas through the Ukrainian gas transmission system through the Sudzha gas measuring station (GIS) as of 16:47 Kyiv time for December 21 is usual 42.4 million cubic meters.

As reported, on Tuesday afternoon in the Vurnar region of the Russian Chuvashia, loss of containment with fire occurred at a section of the Urengoy – Center – 2 gas pipeline.
The damaged section of the gas pipeline was contained. Gas is transported to consumers in full through parallel gas pipelines. According to preliminary data, three people were killed, one was injured – he was urgently provided with medical assistance.
The press service of Gazprom Transgaz Nizhny Novgorod said that gas transportation after the accident on the main line in Chuvashia is provided to consumers in full through parallel gas pipelines.
