European Insurance Alliance collects UAH 210.7 mln in premiums, pays UAH 84 mln in 2022

KYIV. March 2 (Interfax-Ukraine) – PJSC European Insurance Alliance collected UAH 210.725 million in insurance premiums in 2022 and paid out UAH 84.038 million, according to a press release from the insurer.

At the same time, during the past year, about 45,000 insurance policies were signed, of which 75% were with legal organizations.

Voluntary medical insurance (VMI) with 34.1% had the largest share in the company’s insurance portfolio, the share of compulsory and voluntary civil liability insurance for drivers (OSAGO) was 23.4%, voluntary land transport insurance (KASKO) 21.7%, property insurance 16.5%, and other types of insurance 4.3%.

In the portfolio of insurance indemnities, 46% accounted for VMI, 28.5% for KASKO, 23.7% for OSAGO, 1.5% for property insurance, and 0.3% for other types of insurance.

“It was a very difficult year, but… we managed to save jobs and create the most convenient and safest conditions for the organization of continuity of work and the provision of services. From the first day of the full-scale invasion, we focused on providing quality 24/7 service support and carried out a number of activities aimed at maintaining continuous communication with customers and partners. For this purpose, all the necessary equipment was purchased, and at the end of 2022, the company’s central office moved to a more convenient and accessible place,” the company said.

PJSC European Insurance Alliance has been operating in the insurance market of Ukraine since 1994. It is a member of the Motor (Transport) Insurance Bureau of Ukraine, a member of the agreement on direct loss settlement for OSAGO, and a member of the Nuclear Insurance Pool Ukraine.

The company provides about 30 types of voluntary and compulsory insurance.

Its charter capital is UAH 55 million.
