European Commission building in Brussels illuminated in yellow-blue in honor of support to Ukraine on Independence Day on August 24
KYIV. Aug 24 (Interfax-Ukraine) – The European Commission building in Brussels (Belgium) is illuminated with yellow-blue light in honor of Ukraine’s support for Independence Day on August 24, European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen said.
“On 24 August, the world celebrates Ukraine Independence Day. So tonight, the EU_Commission proudly wears yellow and blue, to show our support to Ukraine. We proudly stand with our Ukrainian friends in their fight for a free, independent and European future,” she said on Twitter.
