BRUSSELS. Nov 9 (Interfax) – The European Union Council decided on Tuesday, amid the migrant crisis on the Belarusian-Polish border, to partially suspend the EU-Belarus visa facilitation agreement in regard to Belarusian officials.
"We strongly condemn and reject the continued instrumentalisation of migration by the Belarus regime," Minister for the Interior of Slovenia and Chair of the Home Affairs Council Ales Hojs was quoted as saying in a statement.
According to the statement, the decision does not apply to ordinary citizens of Belarus.
