EU Ambassador notes importance of electing person with professional competencies, incl high-level integrity, as ARMA head
KYIV. Aug 13 (Interfax-Ukraine) – It is important that the National Agency of Ukraine for Finding, Tracing and Management of Assets Derived from Corruption and Other Crimes (Asset Recovery and Management Agency or ARMA) be headed by a person with the necessary professional competencies, including high-level integrity, Head of the EU Delegation to Ukraine Matti Maasikas said.
"It is important … that ARMA be led by a person with the necessary professional competencies, including a high-level of integrity. If this can only be achieved by re-announcing the selection process, the EU will have full understanding of this approach," he wrote on Twitter.
