EU Ambassador calls election of two members of HCJ excellent news for judicial reform of Ukraine
KYIV. Aug 15 (Interfax-Ukraine) – Head of the EU Delegation to Ukraine Matti Maasikas called the election of two members of the High Council of Justice excellent news for Ukraine’s judicial reform, noting that Roman Maselko and Mykola Moroz enjoy the support of Ukrainian civil society.
"Excellent news for the Ukrainian justice reform. Ukrainian Parliament elected two highly professional members to the High Council of Justice, the body administrating courts. Both Roman Maselko and Mykola Moroz also enjoy support of Ukrainian civil society," he said on Twitter.
As reported, the Verkhovna Rada on Monday elected two members of the High Council of Justice: lawyer Roman Maselko and associate Professor Mykola Moroz.
