Estonian President about mass graves in Izium: We will not rest until perpetrators brought to justice
KYIV. Sept 16 (Interfax-Ukraine) – Estonian President Alar Karis has said that the mass graves of people in de-occupied Izium, Kharkiv region, are another proof of the war crimes of Russian soldiers, who must be held accountable.
"Brutality and endless human suffering, impossible to put in words the horror Russian soldiers leave behind in Ukraine. Izium mass grave is another proof of war crimes. Our duty is to ensure accountability, we’ll not rest before those responsible will be brought to justice," he said on Twitter.
Earlier, President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky said that legal proceedings had begun in de-occupied Izium, Kharkiv region, in relation to the mass graves of people found there.
