EP President: EP is under cyberattack by pro-Kremlin group, my response – Glory to Ukraine
BRUSSELS. Nov 23 (Interfax-Ukraine) – The European Parliament (EP) has undergone a cyberattack following the adoption of the resolution proclaiming Russia as a state-sponsor of terrorism, a pro-Kremlin group has claimed responsibility for it, EP President Roberta Metsola has said.
"The European Parliament is under a sophisticated cyberattack. A pro-Kremlin group has claimed responsibility. Our IT experts are pushing back against it and protecting our systems. This, after we proclaimed Russia as a State-sponsor of terrorism. My response: Slava Ukraini [Glory to Ukraine]," she said on Twitter on Wednesday.
