Enwell Energy starts drilling new well at Svyrydivske field
KYIV. Sept 24 (Interfax-Ukraine) – British-based Enwell Energy, which is part of Smart Energy, has begun drilling well No. 31 at Svyrydivske field (Poltava region).
"The SV-31 well has now been spudded and has a target depth of 5,250 meters. Drilling operations are scheduled to be completed by the end of the first quarter of 2022, and, subject to successful testing, production hook-up is scheduled during the second quarter of 2022. The well is a development well, targeting production from the V-21 and V-22 horizons in the Visean formation, which have demonstrated good productivity in an existing nearby well," the report says.
As reported, Enwell Energy in 2020 increased the average daily production of hydrocarbons by 6.5% compared to 2019 – up to 4,541 barrels of oil equivalent per day (boepd).
The majority shareholder of Enwell Energy, which owns 82.65%, is Cypriot Smart Energy Ltd (formerly Pelidona Services Limited, renamed at the end of 2020) from Smart Holding group of Vadim Novinsky.
In 2021-2030 Smart Energy plans to drill over 30 new wells, while 13 wells were drilled in the previous ten years. The operating park of Smart Energy as of June 2021 consisted of 29 wells.
