Enemy shells Avdiyivka all day long, one person wounded – Kyrylenko
KYIV. March 17 (Interfax-Ukraine) – The Russian occupation forces have been shelling Avdiyivka in Donetsk region all day long, as a result of which one person was wounded, Head of Donetsk Regional Military Administration Pavlo Kyrylenko has said.
“Avdiyivka has been under enemy fire all day long. One person wounded,” he said on the Telegram channel on Friday.
“In the morning, the Russian forces fired three air missiles against the town, at noon they shelled it using artillery and Grad systems, and in the afternoon there was a tank shelling and one more air strike,” Kyrylenko said.
The missiles and shells hit eight different streets. The aftermath of the attacks is yet to be estimated, he said.
“The Russian forces are leveling Avdiyivka. It is not a town already, but a single war crime scene,” Kyrylenko said.
