Enemy mounts seven missile attacks, 20 air strikes against Ukraine, tries to destroy dam of Pechenizke reservoir in past 24 hours – AFU General Staff
KYIV. Sept 20 (Interfax-Ukraine) – The Russian occupation forces mounted seven missile attacks and fired 20 air strikes, as well as shelled military and civilian facilities in the territory of Ukraine more than 15 times using multiple rocket launch systems in the past 24 hours, according to the latest updates on the Russian invasion of Ukraine as of 18:00 published on Facebook page of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU).
"As a result of terrorist actions by the Russian forces in the past 24 hours, the infrastructure of more than 20 residential areas was damaged. Among them were Slovyansk, Siversk, Soledar, Bakhmut, Vuhledar, Stepne, Nikopol, and Ochakiv," it said.
The occupation forces tried to destroy the dam of the Pechenizke water reservoir in Pezhenihy, Kharkiv region, but failed.
The enemy mounted attacks using tanks, mortars and various artillery systems.
