Enemy launches 10 missile, 26 air strikes in 24 hours – General Staff
KYIV. Jan 28 (Interfax-Ukraine) – Over the past day Friday, January 27, the Russian invaders launched 36 missile and air strikes, and carried out 81 shelling from the MLRS, the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine reported.
"Over the past 24 hours, the Russian occupiers launched 26 air strikes and 10 missile strikes, of them one hit civilian infrastructure in Zaporizhia. In addition, Russian forces conducted 81 MLRS attacks, including against the civilian objects in the town of Ochakiv. The attacks caused casualties among civilian population. The threat of enemy air and missile strikes remains high across Ukraine," according to the morning report on Facebook on Saturday.
Volyn, Polissia, Siverschyna and Slobozhanschyna axes: no significant changes, no Russian offensive groupings identified.
Siverschyna axis: the vicinities of Mykolaivka (Chernihiv region); Rozhkovichi and Bachivsk (Sumy region) came under mortar fire.
Slobozhanschyna axis: the enemy does not stop shelling Ukrainian settlements along the contact line. The vicinities of more than 30 settlements came under enemy fire, including Huryiv Kozachok, Krasne, Starytsia, Okhrymivka, Varvarivka, Novomlynsk, Dvorichna, Zapadne, and Kupiansk (Kharkiv region).
Kupiansk and Lyman axes: the enemy shelled the vicinities of more than 25 settlements, including Ivanivka, Kyslivka, Krokhmalne, and Berestove (Kharkiv region); Novoselivske, Makiyivka, Chervonpopivka, and Dibrova (Luhansk region).
Bakhmut axis: the vicinities of more than 40 settlements, including Spirne, Verkhnokamianske, Rozdolivka, Vesele, Bilohorivka, Bakhmut, Chasiv Yar, Klischiyivka, Kurdiumivka, Mayorsk, Druzhba, Pivnicnhe, Zalizne, and Toretsk (Donetsk region) suffered enemy attacks.
Avdiyivka axis: Berdychi, Avdiyivka, Vesele, Vodiane, Nevelske, Krasnohorivka, Maryinka, and Novomykhailivka came under enemy fire.
Novopavlivsk axis: the enemy shelled Bohoyavlenka, Vuhledar and Zolota Nyva.
Zaporizhia axis: more than 30x settlements, including Zalizne, Illinka, Vremivka, and Novopil (Donetsk region); Olhivske, Poltavka, Malynivka, Chervone, Hulyaipole, Staroukrainka, Charivne, Orihiv, Novodanylivka, Novoandriyivka, and Kamianske (Zaporizhia region), suffered enemy attacks.
Kherson axis: the vicinities of Zolota Balka, Havrylivka, Dudchany, Chervony Mayak, Monastyrske, Tomaryne, Burghnka, Tiahynka, Komysany, and Kherson were subjects to enemy MLRS, artillery and mortar attacks.
