Enemy drone downed in Chernihivsky district – Pivnich command
KYIV. Aug 24 (Interfax-Ukraine) – The Ukrainian air defense forces have downed an enemy drone in Chernihivsky district, Chernihiv region, on Wednesday, according to the Pivnich (North) Operational Command.
"At around 15:30, our forces and air defense system downed an enemy drone in Chernihivsky district. More details will be reported later," it said on Facebook.
Chernihivsky district has a long border with Belarus in the north and west. It also has a 3-kilometer-long border with Russia in north-east.
